Japan Connects Hollywood accepts films and media works created by and/or about Japanese individuals and communities around the world.

If the film is created by a non-Japanese filmmaker, the films need to depict Japan and/or its culture.

Short film submissions are to run no longer than 25 minutes. Feature film submissions are to run no longer than 120 minutes.

English subtitles are required.

We accept fiction, documentary, music videos, and animated films.

Submission fees are non-refundable.
